Travel Tips
Getting to Baltimore
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Charm City! The wedding ceremony and reception will be held in Baltimore’s beautiful Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
This is the closest, easiest, and most convenient airport.
Distance to Downtown Baltimore: ~15–20 minutes by car or rideshare.
Public Transit: You can take the MTA Light Rail directly from the airport to downtown Baltimore (Camden Station or University Center) for just $2.00.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Distance to Downtown Baltimore: ~60–75 minutes by car (depending heavily on traffic).
Public Transit: You can take the DC Metro from DCA to Washington Union Station, where you can catch a 40-minute Amtrak or MARC train straight into downtown Baltimore.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Distance to Downtown Baltimore: ~75–90 minutes by car.
Public Transit: If you fly into Dulles, we highly recommend renting a car or taking the Silver Line Metro into DC to catch the train, as rideshares to Baltimore can be quite pricey.
Arriving by Train (Amtrak & MARC)
For our East Coast guests, the train is an incredibly easy way to travel right into the city.
Details: Book your tickets to Baltimore Penn Station (BAL). Penn Station is located a quick 3-minute rideshare or a lovely 10-minute walk through Mount Vernon.
